This is the first anniversary of the most incredible year of our lives! One year ago today we finally got up the nerve ( LOL) to quit our well paying jobs and retire for ever, leave a place ( Arizona) where we really enjoyed living and embark on our travels. And what a year it has been!
We've seen such beautiful places- New Orleans, Louisiana; Cortina, Venezia & Firenza, Italy; Trogir & Split, Croatia; Cuenca & the Pacific coast, Ecuador; Cerro Azul & Isla Grande, Panama..... I could go on for ever. So much 'eye candy' my head is spinning!
Most important of all, the wonderful people we've met and the new friends we have made... the world is truly an incredible place and Uwe & I are very very blessed.

My husband and I travelled for 1 year to several countries, Italy, Ecuador, Panama..., . This blog contains leaving our 11 year home in Arizona after finally retiring in April 2011, returning to our home country Canada for several weeks and finally spending 3 months exploring Italy, 6 months exploring Ecuador and then on to Panama. Our year is now finished and after spending the summer of 2012 at home gathering our papers for residency , we are now back in Ecuador.
Isn't it amazing to be able to live your dream!
